It’s easy to forget that Liz Warren was leading the pack in October. She lost a lot of support when she became embroiled in the misogyny case with Sanders, which completely backfired and her culling of Bloomberg earnt her some respect (and spelt the end of the road for Mini Mike) but progressives opted for Bernie. All change again.

Jim Clyburn got the ball rolling and South Carolina’s win and the added endorsements of O Rourke, Buttigieg and Klobuchar got the older voters motivated to come out on Super Tuesday and beat- back the Sanders momentum. Biden is now in the driving seat and many will be watching his 1-1 with Bernie tonight, anything can happen.
