Trump has left his allies in a dire situation and it doesn’t look good. Erdogan holds all the aces…the only positive note is that the Syrian refugees will not be saturating Europe…(there is enough) as Erdogan threatened to do. However, I.S soldiers imprisoned nearby amidst very weak security make the whole situation extremely perilous.

Once again. The Kurds are not our allies, they are our clients. To be an ally you would have to offer us something. Turkey is our NATO ally. The Kurds are not. Nevertheless, we will continue helping them through money and weapons.

Really? They had nothing to offer us? And they were good when they were fighting ISIS? Whose ally is Turkey…Russian or American? The jury is still out on that one. When did we start supporting dictators? Helping them through money and weapons? Wait, would not that get us in trouble with Turkey?

The Kurds were our ‘paid’ allies in the war against I.S. Trump gave them his word (also waxing lyrical about them being ‘Brother’s’, protecting them etc. Erdogan has Europe and Trump over a barrel…after all, to him…it’s just business.
