Easy to write it off, just like that. Have you read the article? He has already been replaced by a new guy, and they are already plotting revenge. They stopped being centralized long time ago…so they can manage without him too.
Ok, families can feel some kind of closure now…But what about political outcome?

I read the article and it’s just more spin about making this not a good thing. Of course the battle doesn’t immediately stop as soon as his last breath leaves his body. There will always be people in the middle east that hate America and we will be fighting for years to come. Taking out the big ones makes it a more daunting task for the next guy to fill his shoes. After bin Laden died, al-Qaida didn’t cease existing overnight. But it sure as hell diminished in power and hasn’t caused nearly the amount of chaos it once did on the global stage.
