Did not he say that he would let Navy decide on Gallagher’s fate? So much about Navy autonomy.
Anyway…I do not know what to think about the case of Gallagher. Obviously, prior to those accusations…he was behaving like a soldier of honor. But then again…he was accused by his fellow SEALS (in spite of them usually protecting their colleagues), so he clearly fell out of favor there. I do not think he should be allowed to stay in Navy.
Spencer was fired simply because he refused to obey Trump’s orders. They invented everything else.
Simply because he refused to obey the orders of his Commander in Chief? And that is no big deal to you it seems? In my days, it used to be called a military coup and was punished with…well, you know what.
