Forget about his grammatical errors, odd capitalization and odd use of language (“ugly impeachment” “perfect phone call”). That is Trump. Everything he does has a purpose. This letter will really resonate with his target group. And his target group are not academics.
A letter written by using simple words will resonate even stronger.

But I wanted to talk about something else…Does Trump bring up any important points in what he calls a “historical letter”? Yes he does, in my opinion. To begin with, he mentions that Pelosi admitted two days ago that the impeachment has been ongoing for the last 2 years and a half. It does make one think how connected with Ukraine situation this impeachment really is, and how connected it is with Trump’s election. Next, he mentions all of his accomplishments in one place (these are real accomplishments, especially economic ones). Finally, he brings up the fact that Zelensky adamantly denies the existence of pressure.

His target group are then what? Idiots? That is the only thing I can think of. Trump’s letter is embarrassing. It is like a tantrum put in words.

What exactly do his accomplishments have to do with this particular impeachment process?

Nothing…I’m just saying he knows what he is doing there…and who he is sending his message to.
