The question is not whether he should resign (of course he should) but whether criminal charges should be brought against him? Corruption, bribery? It certainly seems so to me.

Of course Rafael Reif knew what was going on, and fired those subordinates who were tasked in covering up the Epstein donations. Allowing Epstein to wander around the campus unsupervised, knowing he was a sex offender is astonishing, and verging on criminal as the young students could have been in danger from this sexual predator. He should definitely stand down.

Of course he should resign, MIT were fully aware of Epstein’s criminal, background and took his dirty money under less than honest circumstances.
