Those who voted “Leave” should not be allowed to make a claim for a refund, guaranteed to them under the same EU laws which they voted against. If it were not for EC Regulation 261/2004, their money would have gone under the drain, along with Thomas Cook.

Are you saying that countries like Switzerland, non-EU member, do not allow customers to make a claim for a refund? Of course not. Most of these non-EU members have the same right, guaranteed under their national law. The UK would have had it too, even without the EU. They already have it guaranteed under the Consumer Rights Act.
