What is driving protests across the world?

You do not have to be a genius to understand that. They are protesting neoliberalism and rising inequality gap. Soon enough, we will have the world similar to what Collins described in her “Hunger Games”. Only that, this time, it will not be scifi.

What our nationalists do not understand is that people are not leaving their home countries for fun. They are leaving because they cannot survive. And we also play a role in that. We meddle in their affairs, appoint and fire their presidents, depending on what suits us, not what suits their people. At times, we fuel sectarian divisions. So, I understand their plight.

I’m tired of us being accused for all the problems of the Third World. They should take some responsibility-it is about high time to keep blaming it all on colonialism and imperialism. These nations simply cannot fight their corruption.
